Porsche Taycan: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Taycan Sedan (2020–2024, J1)
2020 – 2024
- Very low nose with four-point daytime lights in slim headlights
- Large air-curtain intakes in the bumper corners
- Sedan only: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagons are not covered
- GTS (2022+) has the SportDesign front fascia and SportDesign side skirts; cars with the optional SportDesign package use the GTS SKUs
- Turbo / Turbo S have a different front bumper
- Optional panoramic glass roof: choose the sunroof option on the roof and full-body kits (glass is not covered)
- Run-out overlapped the facelift's spring 2024 arrival; the last new sale of this body is not yet evidenced per region
- Not covered: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagon bodies
Taycan Sedan (2025+, J1 facelift)
2025 onwards
- Reshaped front bumper; the four-point daytime lights are now inside the headlights
- New rear bumper with the licence plate moved up
- Sedan only: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo are not covered
- GTS keeps the SportDesign front fascia and side skirts; cars with the optional SportDesign package use the GTS SKUs
- Turbo / Turbo S have their own front bumper; Turbo GT adds a carbon front spoiler with aeroblades and a rear Gurney flap
- Turbo GT with Weissach package (different front diffuser, fixed rear wing) is not covered
- Optional panoramic glass roof: choose the sunroof option on the roof and full-body kits (glass is not covered)
- First customer deliveries April 2024 in Europe (Porsche Q1 2024 delivery report; Romania 25 April); other regions are announcement-only and marked unconfirmed
- Not covered: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagon bodies
- Not covered: Turbo GT with Weissach package (different front diffuser, fixed rear wing)
