Privacy Policy

• When you order: your name, email address, phone number and shipping address, the kits and options you chose (including your vehicle and its specification), and the payment amount. You enter your card on Stripe's secure checkout page; your card number never reaches us.
• When you contact us: what you send through the contact form (name, email, optional phone number, your vehicle, and for kit requests the make, model, year, trim, country it was sold in and, if you give it, the VIN) and any photos or messages you email or send us on WhatsApp.
• When you browse: the country our hosting network detects from your connection, used to show your currency and shipping rate, and usage data from Google Analytics (see below). Our hosting providers also keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and browser types, for security.

• To take payment, cut the right kit for your car, ship it, and send you your order confirmation and tracking.
• To answer your questions and kit requests and to follow up on an order.
• To keep the records that tax and accounting law requires, and to prevent fraud.
• To understand which pages and products people use, so we can improve the site.

We send emails about your order and replies to your messages. We do not send marketing emails.

• Site preferences: small cookies remember the country you ship to, the currency you view prices in and your vehicle specification. Your cart is saved in your own browser (local storage) until you check out or clear it.
• Google Analytics: measures page views and shop events such as viewing a kit, adding to cart and completing a purchase (the products and amounts, never your name, email or address). In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we do not set analytics cookies; Google Analytics only receives anonymous, cookieless signals there. We use no advertising cookies anywhere.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The shop still works without them, but your preferences will not be remembered.

We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the shop, and only what each needs:

• Stripe: payments and fraud screening.
• Amazon Web Services: website hosting, our order and message database, and order emails.
• Google: Google Analytics, and the email inbox where we read and answer your messages.
• Cloudflare: our domain and the forwarding of email sent to hello@kutfit.com.
• Shipping carriers (such as Canada Post, UPS or DHL): your name, address and phone number, to deliver your parcel.
• WhatsApp: only if you choose to message us there.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, mainly in the United States, where it is protected by our agreements with them but may be accessed by authorities under local law.

We keep order records for as long as tax law requires (in Canada, six years after the end of the tax year they relate to). We keep contact messages while we need them to answer you and to handle any order that follows, and delete them sooner if you ask.

Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we may need to keep order records the law requires). Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also object to how we use your information or ask for a copy in a portable format.

Email hello@kutfit.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to the data protection authority where you live.

The site is served only over HTTPS, card details are handled by Stripe, and access to our order system is restricted to our staff. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever learn of a breach that puts your information at real risk, we will tell you.

Our shop is meant for adults buying for their own vehicles. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.
