Porsche Taycan: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Taycan Sedan (2020–2024, J1)
2020 – 2024
- European, UK, Asian and Australian cars have their own rear bumper pattern: choose the vehicle specification
- Very low nose with four-point daytime lights in slim headlights
- Large air-curtain intakes in the bumper corners
- All sedans (4S, GTS, Turbo, Turbo S) share one pattern set; the optional SportDesign package (standard on the GTS) changes the front bumper: choose the bumper type
- Front and rear parking sensors (2 or 4) change the bumper cut-outs: choose the sensor options
- Powered charging-port covers change the hood: choose the hood type
- Optional panoramic glass roof: choose the roof type on roof and full-body kits (glass is not covered)
- Run-out overlapped the facelift's spring 2024 arrival; the last new sale of this body is not yet evidenced per region
- Not covered: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagon bodies
- Not covered: SportDesign side skirts and rear apron (only the front bumper follows the bumper-type choice)
Taycan Sedan (2025+, J1 facelift)
2025 onwards
- Reshaped front bumper; the four-point daytime lights are now inside the headlights
- New rear bumper with the licence plate moved up
- Taycan / 4 / 4S / GTS share one pattern set; the optional SportDesign package (standard on the GTS) changes the front bumper: choose the bumper type
- Turbo / Turbo S have their own front and rear bumpers; Turbo GT (with or without Weissach package) also has its own side skirts
- Front and rear parking sensors (2 or 4) change the bumper cut-outs: choose the sensor options
- Optional panoramic glass roof: choose the roof type on roof and full-body kits (glass is not covered)
- First customer deliveries April 2024 in Europe (Porsche Q1 2024 delivery report; Romania 25 April); other regions are announcement-only and marked unconfirmed
- Not covered: Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagon bodies
- Not covered: SportDesign side skirts and rear apron on the Taycan / 4 / 4S / GTS (only the front bumper follows the bumper-type choice)

Porsche Taycan PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 Porsche Taycan bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
