How to recognise this generation
  • Pixel-pattern daytime lights in square headlights
  • Large clamshell hood covering the fender tops
  • No rear wiper on ordinary pre-facelift cars (the Ioniq 5 N has one)
  • US Limited (and the D100 Platinum Edition) has its own front bumper with six sensors, hood & fenders with side sensors, wheel-arch mouldings, sills and rear bumper; SE / SEL / Preferred / Ultimate share the standard patterns
  • Front-view camera on some cars: choose the camera option on bumper kits; rear sensors are standard
  • Two headlight patterns: SE / Preferred, or SEL / Limited (choose the headlight type on lamp kits)
  • Vision glass roof optional (Ultimate package): choose it on the roof and full-body kits
  • Ioniq 5 N is a much wider body with its own bumpers, hood & fenders and rear wing
