Hyundai Ioniq 5: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Ioniq 5 (2022–2024, NE)
2022 – 2024
- Pixel-pattern daytime lights in square headlights
- Large clamshell hood covering the fender tops
- No rear wiper on ordinary pre-facelift cars (the Ioniq 5 N has one)
- US Limited (and the D100 Platinum Edition) has its own front bumper with six sensors, hood & fenders with side sensors, wheel-arch mouldings, sills and rear bumper; SE / SEL / Preferred / Ultimate share the standard patterns
- Front-view camera on some cars: choose the camera option on bumper kits; rear sensors are standard
- Two headlight patterns: SE / Preferred, or SEL / Limited (choose the headlight type on lamp kits)
- Vision glass roof optional (Ultimate package): choose it on the roof and full-body kits
- Ioniq 5 N is a much wider body with its own bumpers, hood & fenders and rear wing
Ioniq 5 (2025+, NE facelift)
2025 onwards
- Restyled front and rear bumpers with reshaped corner intakes, rear wiper added on every trim (the N already had one), longer rear spoiler
- Same pixel headlights (one pattern fits every trim) and clamshell hood; Vision glass roof still optional (choose it on roof kits)
- Front bumper patterns differ by trim: SE / Preferred, SEL (US), Limited / Preferred Ultimate (with sensors and front camera) and XRT are each cut separately
- Limited / Preferred Ultimate also have their own hood & fenders, sills, doors and rear bumper; XRT's cladding shares the standard side pattern
- N Line (outside North America) has its own bumpers and sills; Ioniq 5 N keeps its wide body

Hyundai Ioniq 5 PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 Hyundai Ioniq 5 bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
