How to recognise this generation
  • Wide headlights with a vertical daytime-light strip beside a tall grille; fog lamps in the lower bumper corners
  • Sold as the 2019 to 2021 Sierra 1500, then as the Sierra 1500 Limited (Pro / SLE / SLT / Elevation / AT4 / Denali) alongside the 2022 refresh
  • SLT, AT4 and Denali share one front bumper; Base, Pro, SLE and Elevation share another; Elevation also has its own grille
  • One hood, fender, headlight and rear bumper pattern for every trim; the sill patterns differ by cab and bed
  • Front and rear parking sensors (PDC) on some trucks: choose both on bumper kits; the Duramax diesel changes the front bumper opening
  • Regular Cab, Double Cab or Crew Cab with 5 ft 8 in, 6½-ft or 8-ft beds: choose the cab on side, rocker, roof and full-body kits; crew cabs may have a sunroof or roof marker lamps
