2021 – 2024
- Tall vertical kidney grille with no surround
- Wide flared wheel arches
- Competition shares the body; the 2024 M3 CS has its own lightweight two-bar grille, carbon hood and front splitter
- Run-out overlapped the LCI's mid-2024 arrival; the last new sale of this body is not yet evidenced per region
M3 (2025+, G80 LCI)
2025 onwards
- Slimmer LCI headlights with a new daytime light signature
- Same vertical grille, arches and bumpers as the 2021 car
- Production and worldwide launch from July 2024 (BMW); first customer deliveries per region are not evidenced, so the start is marked unconfirmed
