BMW M3: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
M3 (2015–2018, F80)
2015 – 2018
- Two separate kidney grilles with a power-dome hood and large front intakes
- Wide flared arches and gill-style fender vents
- Competition Package and the 2018 M3 CS share the body panels
- Carbon-fibre roof is standard; a steel sunroof was optional: choose the roof type
- Parking sensors, headlamp washers and the side-view cameras change the bumper cut-outs
- Not covered: M3 (G80, 2021 onwards, listed separately)
M3 (2021+, G80)
2021 onwards
- European, UK and Asian cars have their own front bumper pattern: choose the vehicle specification
- Tall vertical kidney grille with no surround
- Wide flared wheel arches
- M3 and M3 Competition share every panel; the 2023–2024 M3 CS uses the same bumper, fender and door patterns
- The M3 CS carbon hood has an exposed-carbon cut-out: choose the hood type
- Cars with the M Performance or M Carbon Exterior package have a different front splitter: choose the front bumper type
- 2025 LCI cars have slimmer headlights with a new daytime light signature; every panel pattern is unchanged

BMW M3 PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 BMW M3 bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
