How to recognise this generation

Latin American, European, Asian and UK cars have their own front bumper and hood and fender patterns: choose the vehicle specification
Slimmer headlights without the lower notch; fog lamps deleted
Flatter kidney grille with a simpler surround
Sport Line has its own front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts; M Sport keeps the larger lower intakes
M340i shares the M Sport bumpers and side skirts but has its own hood, fender and M-specific mirror-cap pattern
Plug-in hybrid versions have a charging flap in the front left fender: choose the charging-door option on hood / fender kits
Cars with a camera behind the grille need a cut-out: choose the camera option on grille kits
