How to recognise this generation
- All-new body with a wide, low grille joined to slim headlights by a light strip and smooth, flush sides
- The North American Tiguan is the long body sold as the Tayron in Europe and China; the shorter European Tiguan is a different body
- LED fog lamps on SE and up; S has blank inserts: choose the fog option
- R-Line (and the Turbo / Black Edition trims that carry it) has its own front bumper, grille insert, hood & fender pattern, sills and roof pattern
- Front and rear Park Distance Control is standard on every trim including S (Volkswagen 2025 dealer launch guide): choose 'with' for both sensor options
- Roof: solid, or the panoramic sunroof: choose the roof type
