How to recognise this generation
  • European, UK and Asian cars have their own front bumper pattern: choose the vehicle specification
  • Slimmer headlights with a light strip across the grille (one lamp pattern fits every trim); new front and rear bumpers; same long body
  • LED fog lamps on Comfortline and up; Trendline has blank inserts: choose the fog option
  • R-Line has its own front and rear bumpers, grille insert and side sills (Volkswagen 2022 order guide); doors, hood and roof are shared
  • Front and rear parking sensors on Highline, rear only on Comfortline, and a front camera on some cars: choose the sensor and camera options on bumper kits
  • Roof: solid, or the panoramic sunroof: choose the roof type
  • Headlamp washers on European Allspace cars; none in North America: choose the washer option on bumper kits
