How to recognise this generation
  • European-market supermini, not sold in North America: sixth-generation Polo five-door hatchback before the 2021 facelift (no light bar across the grille)
  • GTI and R-Line share one pattern set; the base trims (Trendline / Comfortline / Highline, UK S / SE / Match) have their own front bumper, headlamps and sills
  • Front bumper changes with the parking-sensor package (two or four front sensors) and with headlamp washers: choose the sensor and washer options
  • Fog lamps on the higher trims; blank inserts on the base trims: choose the fog option
  • Three-door cars do not exist for this generation; the Polo Beats and Match variants use the base patterns
