How to recognise this generation
  • Wide hexagonal grille with chrome bars joined to angular headlights; coupe-like roofline
  • LED fog lamps on Highline / Execline (US R-Line / SEL); Comfortline / S have blank inserts: choose the fog option
  • One front bumper, hood and headlight pattern fits every trim including the US R-Line; the GLI has its own front and rear bumpers, honeycomb grille, hood & fender pattern, headlights and side sills
  • Front parking sensors on some cars and rear sensors on Execline (US SEL Premium): choose the sensor options
  • Roof: solid, or the power sunroof (Highline and up): choose the roof type
  • Sold in North America and Mexico; the Chinese Sagitar is a different front end
