How to recognise this generation
  • European-market Golf Mk8.5 five-door hatchback from the 2024 update: reshaped bumper, light bar through the grille and a larger lower opening
  • Base, Energy, Life and Style share one pattern set; the R-Line has its own front bumper, sills, sides and rear bumper, and the GTE its own front and rear bumpers
  • GTE is a plug-in hybrid with a charging door in the front-left fender: choose the charging door option on kits that cover the fender
  • Front and rear bumpers change with the parking-sensor package: choose the sensor options
  • Roof: solid, or the panoramic glass roof: choose the roof type
