2018 – 2019

- One pattern set fits every trim; the R has its own bumpers, sills and roof pieces, different from the GTI and the standard Golf
- Front bumper changes with headlamp washers and with parking sensors: choose the washer and sensor options

Golf R (2022–2024, Mk8)
2022 – 2024
- Mk8 four-wheel-drive hatchback with a light bar across the grille, three wide lower intakes and a roof spoiler; no separate fog lamps
- One pattern set fits every trim; the R Performance package changes the hood and front bumper pattern: choose the package options
- Four or six parking sensors depending on the car: choose the sensor options
- Roof: solid, or the panoramic sunroof: choose the roof type
- Not covered: Golf GTI and standard Golf (see Golf GTI, Golf)
- Not covered: 2025 and later Golf R (Mk8.5)
Golf R (2025+, Mk8.5)
2025 onwards
- Refreshed Mk8: new front and rear bumpers, a larger centre intake and new light graphics
- One pattern set fits every trim including the Black Edition; the R Performance package changes the hood pattern: choose the package option
- Front and rear parking sensors are fitted to some cars only: choose the sensor options
- Roof: solid, or the panoramic sunroof: choose the roof type
