How to recognise this generation
- Mk7.5 hatchback with a honeycomb grille framed by a red line, slim LED headlights and a roof spoiler
- One pattern set fits every trim (S, SE, Autobahn); the GTI has its own bumpers and sills, different from the standard Golf
- Front bumper changes with headlamp washers (SE and up) and with the six-sensor parking package: choose the washer and sensor options
- Roof: solid, or the panoramic sunroof (SE / Autobahn): choose the roof type
- Mk7 cars before the 2018 facelift (rounded bumper, older lights) are a different body
