How to recognise this generation
  • Larger hexagonal grille that runs into slimmer headlights; bolder wheel-arch cladding
  • LED fog lamps on Sport / Limited / Onyx (and the Hybrids); Convenience / Touring / Premium have blank inserts, which changes the bumper pattern too: choose the fog option on lamp and bumper kits
  • Wilderness (2024+) has its own front and rear bumpers, grille, larger cladding, roof with rails and a matte hood decal; its headlights share the standard pattern
  • Rear sonar sensors on Limited / Onyx; other trims have none: choose the rear-sensor option
  • Crosstrek Hybrid (2026, strong hybrid) has no charging door and shares every panel
