Ram 1500: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
1500 (2013–2018, fourth generation)
2013 – 2018
- Crosshair grille with the RAM name across the bar, set between angular headlights; fog lamps in the lower bumper
- Sold until the 2019 model year, then continued as the 1500 Classic (separate model)
- Harvest / Laramie, Knight / Sport, Limited and Laramie Longhorn / Rebel each have their own headlamp or grille pattern; Laramie Longhorn and Rebel also have their own bumper and hood
- Optional fender flares change the hood, bumper corner and sill patterns: choose the flare option
- Front and rear parking sensors on some trucks: choose both on bumper kits
- Regular Cab, Quad Cab or Crew Cab with 5ft 7in, 6ft 4in or 8ft beds: choose the cab on side, rocker, roof and full-body kits
- Not covered: Power Wagon and Ram 2500 / 3500 trucks
1500 (2019–2024, fifth generation)
2019 – 2024
- Large grille with the RAM name above it and slim split headlights; fog lamps in the lower bumper
- Rebel has its own front bumper, headlamps and sills; Limited / Limited Longhorn have their own headlamp pattern
- Sport Appearance Package changes the hood and grille patterns: choose the package option on hood and grille kits
- Optional fender flares change the hood, bumper corner and sill patterns: choose the flare option
- Quad Cab (four doors, smaller rear doors) or Crew Cab with 5ft 7in or 6ft 4in beds: choose the cab on side, rocker, roof and full-body kits
- The previous truck continued alongside as the 1500 Classic (separate model); TRX is a wide body, listed below
- Not covered: TRX (wide body)
- Not covered: Regular Cab (two-door) versions
- Not covered: Power Wagon and Ram 2500 / 3500 trucks
1500 (2025+, fifth generation refresh)
2025 onwards
- New front bumper, grille and headlights for 2025; one front bumper pattern fits every trim
- Hurricane six-cylinder engines replace the V6 and V8 line-up
- Limited / Limited Longhorn / Longhorn and Tungsten have their own grille patterns
- Chrome, Sport and Night appearance packages change the grille, bumper and hood patterns: choose the package on those kits
- Four front parking sensors on some trucks and a front-view camera in the grille on some: choose the sensor and camera options on bumper and grille kits
- Quad Cab or Crew Cab with 5ft 7in or 6ft 4in beds: choose the cab on side, rocker, roof and full-body kits
- TRX is a wide body, listed below
- Not covered: TRX / SRT TRX (wide body)
- Not covered: Regular Cab (two-door) versions
- Not covered: Power Wagon and Ram 2500 / 3500 trucks
1500 TRX (2021–2024, wide body)
2021 – 2024
- Wide body with flared fenders and a vented hood; own front bumper, headlamps and sills
- Crew Cab with 5ft 7in bed only
- Supercharged 6.2L V8; one pattern fits every TRX
- Choose the sunroof option on roof and full-body kits
- Not covered: Standard 1500 trucks (narrower body)
1500 SRT TRX (2026+, wide body)
2026 onwards
- Wide body with flared fenders and a vented hood on the 2025 front end; own front bumper, headlamps and sills
- Crew Cab only
- Hood with or without decals: choose the hood option on hood kits
- Choose the sunroof option on roof and full-body kits
- Not covered: Standard 1500 trucks (narrower body)
