Nissan Pathfinder: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Pathfinder (2017–2020, R52 refresh)
2017 – 2020
- Rounded three-row body; the 2017 refresh brought a V-motion chrome grille, new bumpers and new headlights with boomerang daytime lights
- LED fog lamps on SV and up; S has blank inserts: choose the fog option
- Rear sonar sensors on SV and up, front sensors on SL and Platinum: choose the sensor options
- Roof: solid, or the dual-panel panoramic moonroof (SL Premium / Platinum): choose the roof type
- Rock Creek Edition (2019–2020) has moulded overfenders, a mesh grille and its own lower front fascia plus black roof rails and cross bars (Nissan 2019 press kit): Rock Creek SKUs for bumper, grille, hood / fender and side kits
Pathfinder (2022–2025, R53)
2022 – 2025
- Boxy, upright body with a wide three-slot grille and C-shaped daytime lights in angular headlights
- Three front bumper patterns: S / SV, SL / Platinum, and Rock Creek (grille insert and black lower bumper with a skid-plate look); Rock Creek also has its own headlight pattern
- LED fog lamps on SV and up; S has blank inserts: choose the fog option
- Rear sonar sensors are standard on every US trim (Nissan 2022 press kit) and the front bumper patterns follow the trims above, so no sensor choice is needed
- Roof: solid, or the dual-panel panoramic moonroof (SL Premium / Platinum): choose the roof type
- The 2026 Pathfinder has updated front and rear fascias and is listed as its own body; the last new sale of this body is not yet evidenced
- Not covered: 2026 Pathfinder (updated fascias, listed separately)
Pathfinder (2026+, R53 refresh)
2026 onwards
- Updated front and rear fascias (Nissan 2026 press kit) on the 2022 body; headlights, hood and fenders carry over, and one front bumper pattern fits S / SV / SL / Platinum
- Rock Creek keeps its own grille insert and lower front bumper, cut for the 2026 fascia, and has its own door and quarter patterns
- LED fog lamps on SV and up; S has blank inserts: choose the fog option
- Rear sonar sensors standard; no sensor choice is needed
- Front camera in the grille on some trims: choose the grille-camera option on grille, full-front and full-body kits
- Roof: solid, or the dual-panel panoramic moonroof: choose the roof type
- Nissan announced dealership arrival for early 2026 (November 2025 unveiling); the start below is the beginning of that announced window, marked unconfirmed until first deliveries are evidenced

Nissan Pathfinder PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 3 Nissan Pathfinder bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
