Mercedes-Benz S-Class: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
S-Class (2018–2020, W222 facelift)
2018 – 2020
- Facelifted W222 S-Class with new bumpers and multibeam LED headlights, before the 2021 W223
- AMG Line cars (S 450 / S 560) are the main pattern set; Base cars have their own front bumper, side sill panels and rear bumper
- Mercedes-AMG S 63 has its own front bumper, side sill panels and rear bumper
- Standard and long wheelbase cars share the same kits
- Panoramic sunroof or tilt / slide sunroof changes the roof kit; a trunk spoiler changes the trunk lid kit
- Not covered: Mercedes-Maybach S 560 / S 650 (different front and rear)
- Not covered: Mercedes-AMG S 65
- Not covered: S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet
S-Class (2021+, W223)
2021 onwards
- Seventh-generation S-Class (W223) with slim Digital Light headlights and flush door handles
- AMG Line cars (S 500 / S 580 / S 580e) are the main pattern set
- Luxury Line and Executive Line cars have their own front bumper, side sill panels, door panels and rear bumper
- Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance has its own front bumper, hood and rear bumper
- Front parking sensors and the front-view camera change the front bumper cut-outs; the sunroof or panoramic roof changes the roof kit
- S 580e plug-in hybrid has the charging socket in the rear quarter panel: choose the charging-door option on side and full-body kits
- Not covered: Mercedes-Maybach S 580 / S 680 (different bumpers and rear doors)
- Not covered: Long wheelbase door and sill panels are cut for the long body: check the wheelbase on standard-wheelbase cars
