How to recognise this generation

Original W213 before the 2021 facelift: angular headlights with two-bar daytime lights and a one-piece rear lamp
AMG Line and Base cars are the main pattern set; the Luxury Line (star on the hood, chrome grille) has its own front bumper, hood and sill panels
AMG E 43 / E 53 have their own front apron
Front and rear parking sensors change the bumper cut-outs; the sunroof or panoramic roof changes the roof kit; choose the rear spoiler if fitted
Sedan only: wagon and coupe are not covered
Plug-in hybrid versions (E 350 e / 300 e, Europe) have the charging socket in the rear bumper: choose the charging-door option on rear bumper kits

The self-healing top coat lets light scratches fade with warmth from the sun.

Acidic marks sit on the film and wipe off instead of etching the clear coat.

Winter salt, sand and slush wear the film, so the paint underneath stays factory fresh.
