Mazda Mazda3 Sport (hatchback): which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Mazda3 Sport hatchback (2017–2018, BM refresh)
2017 – 2018
- 2017 refresh of the third-generation hatchback: same reshaped front bumper, grille and headlights as the sedan
- Hatchback sills and rear panels are its own; one pattern set fits every trim (GX / GS / GT, US Sport / Touring / Grand Touring)
- Roof with or without sunroof: choose the roof type
- Not covered: 2014–2016 pre-refresh Mazda3 (different bumper and lights)
Mazda3 Sport hatchback (2019+, BP)
2019 onwards
- Hatchback body with a very thick rear pillar and a short tailgate
- Shares only the hood with the sedan (Mazda: the saloon shares just its bonnet and windscreen with the hatchback); bumpers, fenders, doors, quarters and lamps are hatch-specific
- No fog lamps
- Turbo (2021+) adds a black grille and larger exhaust tips on the same panels; the Appearance Package adds a front chin spoiler that changes the bumper cut: choose it on bumper kits
- Rear parking sensors on GS and up, front sensors on GT / Turbo Premium Plus: choose the sensor options

Mazda Mazda3 Sport (hatchback) PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 Mazda Mazda3 Sport (hatchback) bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
