Mazda Mazda3 Sedan: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Mazda3 Sedan (2017–2018, BM refresh)
2017 – 2018
- 2017 refresh of the third-generation sedan: reshaped front bumper, a grille with a chrome signature wing and new headlights
- One bumper, hood, headlight, sill and door pattern fits every trim (GX / GS / GT, US Sport / Touring / Grand Touring)
- Rear lip spoiler on some cars: choose the spoiler option on trunk kits; roof with or without sunroof: choose the roof type
- Not covered: 2014–2016 pre-refresh Mazda3 (different bumper and lights)
- Not covered: Mazda3 Sport hatchback (listed as its own model)
Mazda3 Sedan (2019+, BP)
2019 onwards
- Long hood and a wide grille with a thin chrome frame; slim headlights; one pattern set fits every trim
- No fog lamps
- Sedan body with a conventional trunk. The hatchback (Mazda3 Sport) is its own model: Mazda states the saloon shares only its bonnet and windscreen with the hatchback, so bumpers, fenders, doors and lamps are sedan-specific
- Turbo (2021+) adds a black grille and larger exhaust tips on the same panels
- The 2024 update changed the interior only; every body panel carries over
- Rear parking sensors on GS and up, front sensors on GT: choose the sensor options; rear lip spoiler on some cars: choose the spoiler option on trunk kits

Mazda Mazda3 Sedan PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 Mazda Mazda3 Sedan bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
