IS (2017–2020, XE30 first refresh)
2017 – 2020
- Large spindle grille (mesh on F Sport); hooked L-shaped daytime lights sit below the angular headlights
- No fog lamps
- F Sport has a mesh grille, its own front and rear bumpers and side rocker trim
- IS 300h shares every panel with the IS 300 / 350
- Rear parking sensors on most trims, front sensors on upper packages: choose the sensor options
IS (2021–2025, XE30 second refresh)
2021 – 2025
- Wider body with new fenders, front and rear bumpers and side rocker trim; slim headlights with a check-mark daytime light
- Full-width rear light bar across the trunk lid; no fog lamps
- F Sport has a mesh grille, its own front and rear bumpers and side rocker trim
- IS 500 F Sport Performance (2022+) adds a raised hood bulge and a rear bumper with quad exhaust tips to the F Sport body
- Rear parking sensors on most trims, front sensors on upper packages: choose the sensor options
- Not sold in Europe; replaced by the 2026 refresh (new front fascia and rear spoiler) listed below
IS (2026+, XE30 third refresh)
2026 onwards
- Refreshed front fascia (new bumper and spindle grille) and a newly designed rear spoiler on the 2021 wide body (Lexus Canada: on sale from February 2026)
- Headlights, hood, fenders, doors and quarters carry over from the 2021–2025 car; the trunk lid now carries the new spoiler
- Line-up is IS 300h and IS 350 worldwide; every North American 2026 IS is an IS 350 F Sport Design or F Sport with the F Sport mesh grille, bumpers and rocker trim. There is no 2026 IS 500: the IS 500 belongs to the 2021–2025 body above
