How to recognise this generation

Slanted seven-slot grille and round lights with a lit ring: the JL two-door, launched as the 2018.5 model
Two long doors on the short body; the hard top and soft top are removable and are not covered
Sport and Sport S have an open black grille without inserts: choose the Sport trim for its grille
Rubicon, Sahara, Willys and the special editions share the core patterns
There is no plug-in 4xe or 392 two-door

Front

Clear gloss. Diagram shows coverage and finish; actual cut lines depend on your vehicle.

What is covered

Stone chips
Gravel thrown up on the highway hits the film, not your paint.
Scratches and scuffs
The self-healing top coat lets light scratches fade with warmth from the sun.
Bugs and bird droppings
Acidic marks sit on the film and wipe off instead of etching the clear coat.
Road salt and grime
Winter salt, sand and slush wear the film, so the paint underneath stays factory fresh.
