How to recognise this generation

Narrow daytime-light strip above separate headlights, a small cascade grille and a large lower air intake; thick grey cladding on the wheel arches and sills
SE / SEL / Limited have their own front bumper pattern; Ultimate and the Canadian trims share the main set
Kona Electric (2019+) has a closed front panel instead of a grille opening and its own front bumper: choose the Electric trim
Front parking sensors on upper trims; some bumpers have a lower middle sensor: choose the front-sensor option
Fog lamps on most trims; blank inserts on the base trims: choose the fog option
