Chevrolet Colorado: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Colorado (2017–2022, second generation)
2017 – 2022
- Mid-size pickup with angular headlights either side of a wide grille carrying the bowtie; sold as the second-generation Colorado from the 2015 model year, with a lightly refreshed face for 2021
- LT and WT share one front bumper, hood and sill pattern; Z71 and ZR2 each have their own front bumper
- ZR2 Bison package trucks have their own front bumper, hood and sill patterns: choose the Bison trim
- Fender flares come on some trims and packages: choose the flare option on kits that touch the fenders or sills
- Extended Cab with small rear-hinged half doors, or Crew Cab with short or long box: choose the cab on side, rocker, roof and full-body kits
- Not covered: 2023+ Colorado (new generation)
- Not covered: 2015 – 2016 Colorado (earlier front end)
- Not covered: ZR2 Bison conversions fitted after sale
Colorado (2023+, third generation)
2023 onwards
- Redesigned mid-size pickup with a tall squared grille and slim light-bar headlights; the 2023 model year was the first
- LT shares one front bumper pattern; WT, Z71 and Trail Boss each have their own front bumper, and Trail Boss also has its own hood and sill patterns
- ZR2 and ZR2 Bison have wider fenders and their own hood: they are a separate body, listed below
- Rear parking sensors on some trucks: choose the sensor option on rear-bumper kits
- Painted cab roof with an optional sunroof: choose the roof type on roof and full-body kits
- Crew Cab only, with the short box
- Not covered: ZR2 and ZR2 Bison (wide body, see the ZR2 body)
- Not covered: 2022 and earlier Colorado (second generation)
Colorado ZR2 (2023+)
2023 onwards
- Off-road version of the third-generation Colorado with wider fenders, its own hood and its own front bumper with tow hooks
- ZR2 Bison has its own front bumper, hood and sill patterns again: choose the Bison trim
- Own sill patterns; the rear bumper follows the standard third-generation truck
- Rear parking sensors on some trucks: choose the sensor option on rear-bumper kits
- Crew Cab only, with the short box
- Not covered: Colorado LT, WT, Z71 and Trail Boss (standard body)
- Not covered: Second-generation Colorado ZR2 (2017 – 2022)
