2019 – 2023
- Large kidney grilles joined by a bridge with a chrome frame
- Angular headlights with blue laser-light accents on upper trims; LED fog lamps
- M Sport has larger intakes and side skirts; X5 M is a wider body (own kit)
- Plug-in hybrid versions have a charging flap in the front left fender: choose the charging-door option on hood / fender kits
- M50i has its own kidney grille insert: choose the grille type on grille kits

X5 (2024+, G05 LCI)
2024 onwards
- Slim headlights with arrow-shaped daytime lights; fog lamps deleted
- Reshaped bumpers front and rear
- Kidney grille outline can be illuminated
- Plug-in hybrid versions have a charging flap in the front left fender: choose the charging-door option on hood / fender kits
- M60i has M-specific aerodynamic mirror caps (BMW 2024 X5 launch release): choose the mirror-cap option on hood / fender / mirror kits
- M60i has a double-bar kidney grille: choose the grille type on grille kits
- Not covered: X5 M (wide body)
