- European, UK and Asian cars have their own front bumper and rear bumper pattern: choose the vehicle specification
- Larger kidney grilles, slimmer headlights and reshaped front and rear bumpers
- Coupe-style sloping roofline
- M Sport and M40i share the bumpers, side skirts and grille; the M40i has its own hood, fender and M mirror-cap pattern
- xLine has its own front and rear bumpers, hood, door / quarter pattern and side skirts
- Rear bumper cuts change with the M Performance package (no licence-plate cut-out)
- X4 M (wide body) is listed as its own body
