Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
Q3 (2019–2025, F3)
2019 – 2025
- Octagonal single-frame grille; angular headlights; pronounced wheel-arch blisters
- No fog lamps
- S line exterior package has its own front and rear bumpers and side sills
- Q3 Sportback (2020+) is a different body: sloping roof, its own rear doors, quarters and hatch
- RS Q3 is wider with its own fenders and bumpers: not covered
- Q3 45 TFSI e plug-in hybrid (Europe, 2021+) has its charging door in the left front fender: choose the charging-door option on hood / fender, full-front and full-body kits
- Rear parking sensors standard, front sensors on upper trims and packages: choose the sensor options
- Headlamp washer nozzles with LED / Matrix headlights: choose the washer option on bumper kits
- North American sales of this body continue until the third generation arrives; the last new sale is not yet evidenced
- Not covered: Q3 Sportback (different body)
- Not covered: RS Q3 (wider body)
Q3 (2025+, third generation)
2025 onwards
- All-new body: wide single-frame grille with a vertical-slat insert, slim upper headlights with a separate lower light unit, smoother wheel arches
- S line exterior package has its own front and rear bumpers and side sills
- Q3 Sportback is a different body
- Q3 e-hybrid plug-in has its charging door in the left front wing (fender), not the rear quarter: choose the charging-door option on hood / fender, full-front, left side and full-body kits
- Headlamp washer nozzles with LED / Matrix headlights: choose the washer option on bumper kits
- European deliveries from October 2025; the North American start is announced for 2026 but not yet evidenced
- Not covered: Q3 Sportback (different body)
