How to recognise this generation
  • 2020 update of the five-door A5: slimmer headlights, a wider single-frame grille and new front and rear bumpers
  • S line cars and the S5 share the bumper, hood, side sill and side patterns; the S5 has its own trunk lid and tailpipe finish
  • Cars without the S line package (up to model year 2024) have their own front and rear bumpers and side sills
  • Model year 2025 Sportbacks all wear the S line bumpers
  • Headlamp washers, parking sensors, the roof type and the rear spoiler change the cut: choose them on the kits that carry them
  • Replaced in North America by the new-generation A5 (B10); model year 2025 was sold in both bodies
