Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
A3 Sedan (2017–2020, 8V facelift)
2017 – 2020
- Second-generation A3 sedan after the 2017 update: single-frame grille with horizontal chrome bars and crisp angular headlights
- S line cars and the S3 share front bumper, hood and side patterns; the S3 has its own rear bumper
- Cars without the S line package have their own front and rear bumpers and side sills
- The RS 3 has its own body (wider bumpers and fenders), listed separately below
- Sedan only: the Sportback, Cabriolet and Sportback e-tron are not covered
- Headlamp washers, parking sensors, fog lamps and the sunroof change the cut: choose them on the kits that carry them
- Not covered: A3 Cabriolet
- Not covered: A3 Sportback e-tron
- Not covered: A3 Sportback (hatchback)
A3 RS 3 Sedan (2018–2020, 8V)
2018 – 2020
- Wider-bodied RS 3 sedan: wider bumpers with large side intakes, honeycomb grille and flared fenders
- Own bumper, hood, headlight, side sill, side and rear bumper patterns; nothing is shared with the standard A3 or the S3
- Sedan only; the RS 3 Sportback is not sold in North America
- Fog lamps change the headlamp kit: choose them on the kits that carry them
A3 Sedan (2021–2024, 8Y)
2021 – 2024
- Third-generation A3 sedan: wide, flat single-frame grille, slim headlights and a sharper character line
- S line cars share the main pattern set; the S3 shares the side and rear bumper patterns but has its own front bumper and hood
- Cars without the S line package have their own front bumper, grille insert, side sills and rear bumper
- The RS 3 has its own body (wider bumpers and fenders), listed separately below
- Headlamp washers, parking sensors, the roof type and the carbon spoiler change the cut: choose them on the kits that carry them
- Sedan only: the Sportback is not covered
- Not covered: A3 Sportback (hatchback)
- Not covered: A3 Cabriolet
A3 RS 3 Sedan (2022–2024, 8Y)
2022 – 2024
- Wider-bodied RS 3 sedan: large honeycomb grille, big side intakes and flared fenders

- The roof type and the carbon spoiler change the cut: choose them on the kits that carry them
A3 Sedan (2025+, 8Y facelift)
2025 onwards
- 2025 update: new headlight signature and reshaped front and rear bumpers
- S line cars (Progressiv / Technik) and the S3 share the front bumper, hood, side sill and side patterns; the S3 has its own rear bumper
- US Base, Premium and Premium Plus cars have their own front bumper, hood and rear bumper
- The RS 3 has its own body (wider bumpers and fenders), listed separately below
- The roof type (solid or panoramic) changes the roof kit
- Sedan only: the Sportback is not covered
- Not covered: A3 Sportback (hatchback)
A3 RS 3 Sedan (2025+, 8Y facelift)
2025 onwards
- Wider-bodied RS 3 sedan with the 2025 light signature and reshaped bumpers
- Own bumper, hood, side sill, side, rear bumper and trunk patterns; nothing is shared with the standard A3 or the S3
- The roof type (solid or panoramic) changes the roof kit
