Is this your car? How to recognise the Acura NSX Type S (2022, NC1)

  • Final model year of the NSX, sold only as the Type S: new front bumper with a wider, more angular grille opening and larger corner intakes, and a new rear bumper around a larger carbon-fibre diffuser
  • Bumpers, hood & fenders, sills and side panels are cut for the Type S; the headlight, roof and trunk-lid patterns are the same as on the 2017–2021 car
  • Mid-engine layout: the hood kits cover the front compartment lid and front fenders, and the trunk-lid kit covers the rear lid behind the engine bay; the glass engine cover and its frame are not included
  • Carbon-fibre decklid spoiler: choose the spoiler option on trunk-lid and full-body kits to match your car
  • The decklid spoiler also changes the rear quarter pieces: the separate side kits are cut for cars without it, so contact us before ordering a side kit for a car that has the spoiler
  • No fog lamps and no separate grille kit; no parking-sensor choice is needed on this body
  • Roof: carbon-fibre roof on every Type S, one fixed panel with no opening

Questions about this body

Which years does this cover?
2022 model year. Kits are matched to the body shape rather than the model year, so a car built around a changeover can be either body. Compare the pictures, or use Find my fit with the month and country your car was first sold.
Do I need an installer?
No. Every piece is already cut, so no blade touches your paint: wet the panel, slide the labelled piece into place and squeegee the water out. If it is your first time, a small kit such as the rocker panels is a good place to start. Read the installation guide.
Can I get it in matte or a colour?
Yes. Every kit is cut in clear gloss by default, or in matte, or in one of 10 colour films (headlamps and other lamps always stay clear).
How long does it take to arrive?
Kits are cut to order and dispatched within 2 to 4 business days; tracked delivery takes about 5 to 14 business days depending on where you are. Shipping is free in Canada. Shipping and returns.
Which cars do these kits not fit?
2017–2021 NSX (listed separately).
