Acura ILX: which body do you have?
Compare your car with the pictures. The year you bought it is only a hint, because bodies changed at different times in different regions.
ILX (2016–2018, first refresh)
2016 – 2018
- First refresh of the ILX (2016 model year): Jewel Eye LED headlights, a shield grille with a bright upper bar and a reshaped front bumper; the rear licence plate sits on the trunk lid
- One front bumper, hood, fender and headlight pattern fits every trim
- A-Spec wears side sill garnishes, so its sill and side kits are cut separately; use the A-Spec kits for any car that has those garnishes
- LED fog lamps on the A-Spec; other trims have blank inserts: choose the fog option
- A-Spec adds a trunk-lid spoiler: choose 'with spoiler' on trunk-lid and full-body kits
- No factory parking sensors, so no sensor choice is needed
- Roof: a single power moonroof on every car
- Not covered: 2013–2015 ILX (different headlights, grille and bumpers)
- Not covered: 2019–2022 ILX (listed separately)
ILX (2019–2022, second refresh)
2019 – 2022
- Second refresh (2019 model year): restyled ahead of the windshield with a diamond pentagon grille, new hood, front bumper and seven-element Jewel Eye headlights; new trunk lid, tail lights and a rear bumper that now carries the licence plate
- One front bumper, grille and headlight pattern fits every trim, A-Spec included (its grille and lower trim differ in finish only)
- A-Spec has its own side sills and hood & fender pattern; the doors are shared
- LED fog lamps on the A-Spec; other trims have blank inserts: choose the fog option
- A-Spec adds a gloss-black decklid spoiler: choose 'with spoiler' on trunk-lid and full-body kits
- No factory parking sensors, so no sensor choice is needed
- Roof: a single power moonroof on every car
- Not covered: 2016–2018 ILX (listed separately)

Acura ILX PPF kits by body
We cut DIY pre-cut paint protection film for 2 Acura ILX bodies. A new body starts wherever the panels change shape, such as a facelift with a new bumper or lights, so a kit always matches the car it was cut for.
